Maximize your generosity

Review the calendar year-end giving reminders to ensure 2025 tax credit, and consult your tax advisor about charitable-deduction changes coming in 2026. GA's fiscal year is July 1 to June 30.

Appreciated Securities

A tax-efficient way to give. To receive 2025 tax credit, please initiate your transfer well in advance of December 31 to allow for processing and notify the Advancement Office.

Donor Advised Fund (DAF)

Support GA and receive favorable tax benefits by donating via a DAF. Be sure to allow ample processing time for delivery by December 31.

IRA: QCD

Qualified Charitable Distributions

If you’re 70½ or older, you can make a tax-advantaged gift to the Annual Fund directly from your IRA. A QCD can satisfy your required minimum distribution (RMD) and may reduce taxable income.

To count for 2025, the distribution must be completed by December 31.

Matching Gifts

  • Company-matching can double your gift to Greenwich Academy. If you or your spouse are affiliated with an organization that will match gifts to independent secondary schools, please forward the matching gift form (obtained from the organization’s personnel office or matching portal) along with your gift to GA. Our Tax ID Number is 06-06-53118.
  • Use the search feature to locate your company and find out if they will match your donation.
