US Online Book Returns
Once again we are partnering with ValoreBooks to offer a virtual textbook buyback program on select Upper School titles.
When?
The site will be open May 31-June 16. After June 16, the site will be closed and buybacks will no longer be accepted. Please note that we cannot accept in-person buybacks at Greenwich Academy this year.
How does it work?
We have set up a customized site with Valore which will provide pricing for those Upper School books we wish to buy back. You need to create an account (or sign in to your existing one if you created one last year) and enter each book’s ISBN number located on the bottom right of the back cover. Valore will send you a prepaid shipping label and once your books are received in acceptable return condition, you will receive your funds via Paypal or check from Valore. Valore will then ship those books to us after the repurchase period had ended.
What books are eligible for buyback?
The list of titles we are buying back is attached below. As always, Valore cannot accept books in poor condition (broken spine, water damage, etc.) or which contain excessive writing or highlighting.
Note that students will also have the opportunity to sell back books which are NOT on the list below because other stores may be interested in buying them back. This is one of the biggest benefits of using the Valore marketplace to sell your books.
Why are you using this program?
The program has been very successful in previous years and yielded a greater number of returned books than we generally receive through in-person buybacks. The Valore program gives families the opportunity to sell back their GA textbooks as well as books that are not on our buy back list.
What about books that I bought at Brunswick?
Brunswick is also using Valore and you can check the following site to see if your BWK course materials are eligible for buyback: Brunswick.valorebooks.com
