GA’s rowing team trains on the Mianus River as well as erging on campus. A fours program, the team rows a non-traditional season in the fall and shifts to its sprint season in the spring. GA’s first boat was the top finisher at New England Interscholastic Rowing Association’s Championship in 2011. In 2013, GA competed at the Henley Women’s Regatta in England. The program is open to girls of all abilities and experience beginning in Group IX.
