Welcome to GA Admission!
We are a student-centered and character-based all-girls independent school deeply committed to educating students to be critical thinkers, creative and analytical writers, effective communicators, and confident self-advocates.
The breadth of our rigorous liberal arts curriculum challenges girls to unleash their infinite capacity to explore, question, discover, dream, create, and grow. We provide a unique all-girls setting at each level from pre-K and kindergarten through middle school and high school. The research speaks for itself—the benefits of attending an all-girls institution are profoundly compelling, with the college matriculation outcomes to match.
More than simply a school, GA is a community, and every girl has her unique, essential place within it, from her first day on campus to long after she graduates. Greenwich Academy is proud to welcome a diverse student body from all over Connecticut including Stamford, New Canaan, Darien, and Bridgeport, as well as areas of New York, including Scarsdale, Mamaroneck, Rye, New Rochelle, Bedford, White Plains, and the Bronx. We are committed to providing an accessible and exceptional education experience with transportation options for students commuting from outside of Greenwich. Our well-funded, inclusive, and equitable financial aid program supports 23% of GA families and can apply towards co-curricular activities as well.
As we approach our remarkable 200th year, our rich history grounds us and our commitment to excellence propels us ever forward. We welcome you to take a closer look at Greenwich Academy. Please stay a while and poke around our website—or better yet, apply and schedule a visit. We look forward to hearing from you!

Diversity & Inclusion
GA’s commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion ranges from the philosophical—inclusion is core to our very mission—to the programmatic, both in class and out, in every division. From our character-based curriculum to our continued dedication to meaningful, broad-based financial aid, GA manifestly seeks to engage issues of social justice and equity.
