GAINS Network

The Girls Advancing In STEM Network is a school-based community for high school girls interested in STEM topics. Through GAINS the girls connect with each other and with women working and studying in STEM fields to support, encourage, teach, and inspire one another. We provide access to role models and virtual mentors, and offer networking opportunities for women and girls at various stages of their educations and careers. Membership is open to any high school serving girls (public or private, single gender or coeducational).

GAINS Conference

This three-day event is dedicated to high school girls interested in STEM fields. GAINS partners with research institutions across the country to host the event. Throughout their time at the conference girls have the opportunity to explore STEM careers, meet STEM professionals, connect with other high schools girls interested in STEM, tour STEM facilities at partner institutions, and hear about cutting-edge research being conducted by women in STEM fields.
