Founded in 1991, the mission of the Cowan Center is to provide the children of Greenwich Academy faculty and staff a safe and nurturing environment to grow and develop. Using the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards, an intentionally planned curriculum offers learning experiences and developmental programs to the children.

Located at 96 Maple Avenue and within walking distance of the Greenwich Academy campus, the Cowan Center welcomes children and families into its warm, home-like setting. The beauty and charm of the exterior continues inside with the main floor and rear-facing garden level being intentionally designed to support a variety of early learning experiences for young children.

In partnership with families, the Cowan Center offers an inclusive community that maintains shared goals to best support the children.

Applications and tours are planned between October and December for the upcoming school year. Enrollment to the Cowan Center does not constitute admission to Greenwich Academy.
