In Middle School, students learn the foundations of the theater. Movement, character development and performance are the focal points of the program.

In Group V, all students attend drama classes twice a week. Curriculum work is presented in a class production by half of the grade in January. A second production is performed by the remaining half of the class in early May.

In Group VI there are no formal drama classes, but there is an optional after-school play open to all who wish to participate.

Group VII affords students the opportunity to take part in two different productions: a large cast girls-only play at Greenwich Academy and a co-ed musical in conjunction with Brunswick Middle School performed on the Brunswick campus.

In Group VIII, students will again have the opportunity to participate in a co-ed Brunswick musical, and they can also take a course at Greenwich Academy in Musical Theatre, which culminates in a musical production performed exclusively by the members of the class.
