Greenwich Academy is a member of the Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA), the Western New England Preparatory Schools Athletic Association (WNEPSA) and the New England Preparatory Schools Athletic Council (NEPSAC). GA sports teams play against those member schools as well as other local independent day schools.

Although GA's athletic teams are highly competitive, every student has an opportunity to participate in any sport, regardless of experience.

While GA students excel in athletics, they also learn that team participation requires more than athletic ability. Their successful seasons depend on cooperation, sportsmanship, discipline and dedication. Athletic competition teaches students to deal gracefully with both victory and defeat.

Through GA's athletics program, students learn to value physical activity, challenges and teamwork, thereby cultivating a life-long interest in fitness and wellness.
