History:
Greenwich Academy was founded in 1827 and is the oldest girls' school in Connecticut. Academy alumnae have distinguished themselves in a variety of fields and continually enhance the school's reputation as one of the finest independent schools in the United States.

Greenwich Academy is an independent college-preparatory day school for girls and young women that seeks to foster excellence.
